I am proud to be a candidate for Pittsburg City Clerk and to offer nearly 20 years of service to the community I proudly call home. I grew up in Pittsburg, graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1994, met my husband here, and raised our three sons here. Pittsburg is not simply where I live. It is where my family, values, and commitment to public service took shape.

As a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC), California Professional Municipal Clerk (CPMC), and the current Director of City Clerk Services for the City of Pittsburg, I know the office, understand how City Hall works, and remain focused on the people it must serve. The City Clerk safeguards public records, supports transparent elections, helps residents access government, and ensures actions are accurate and accountable. My experience in records management, legislative processes, election administration, council support, public communication, and organizational leadership prepared me to lead from day one.

But for me, serving Pittsburg has never been about simply sitting behind a desk. This is my hometown, and the people of this community are more than names on paperwork or faces at a counter. They are my neighbors, friends, and fellow members of a community that has been part of my life for decades. I make it a priority to be present and involved — attending community events, showing up for the people of Pittsburg, listening to their stories and concerns, and taking the time to connect with them. I value the relationships I have built throughout our community, and I believe those personal connections are an important part of what it means to truly serve.

I want our residents to know that their City Clerk is someone they can see, talk to, and trust — someone who is engaged in the community and genuinely cares about the people behind every question, request, record, and election. My commitment to Pittsburg is personal because this community has shaped my life and my family.

I will lead with integrity, impartiality, professionalism, and respect, while making the office more accessible, responsive, and worthy of your trust. Pittsburg has given my family so much. I am ready to keep giving back, to continue being present and connected to the community I love, and to keep our City Clerk’s Office moving in the right direction, forward!
